ActingWorks eager to meet accomplished Actor and Director Stevie Jay in person tommorrow at DramaWay!
We are excited to have a visit by Stevie J tomm at ActingWorks. We are so honoured and delighted to be able to have a visit from this wonderful Actor and Director. Take a look at his extensive Bio.
Stevie Jay’s performance and training has taken him to Toronto, Vancouver, Halifax, New York, Chicago, Cuba, and Los Angeles. He is a graduate of The University of British Columbia. Some of the places he studied, include the famous HB Studio in NYC, a scholarship for Improvisation and Writing at The Second City Chicago, and with the interesting Philippe Gaulier. Stevie Jay has performed at most major stages in Toronto, including Canadian Stage and StageWest. Stevie regularly performs Pochinko Clown; he began his clowning life studying with Mike Kennard, becoming part of the workshop production of The Hollow, and then as part of the cast for the full production at CanStage. He was also an ensemble performer/writer for Cabaret Vulgare, a monthly cabaret, at Buddies in Bad Times. In 2011 he performed his one-clown show, Kornhol’s Kabn, for the Toronto Festival of Clowns as part of Triple Bill. Stevie Jay has also appeared in film, television, and commercials; most notably of late, multiple award-winning “Reel Zombies”, “Moon Point”, “Mortimer”, and PeopleForGood.ca commercial campaign in “Parking”.
